happy weekend / inspiration - Dabbawala : Master of Delivering

Each day in Mumbai more than 4000 Dabbawala in white outfits and matching hats deliver 175,000 lunch boxes by foot, train, bicycle and even carried on top of their heads to the respective office buildings. Despite the unsophisticated mode of transport, the lunches always gets delivered just in time.

Checkout the following video, which looks at the dabbawalla’s art of delivering in time with their relatively low-technology and but with a remarkably uninterrupted services.

Lesson to takeaway: They teach us to be staying focused, stick with the dead lines and keep shipping our products even with the minimal available infrastructure!
